Plates For Eating Slowly - Heat Storing Plates

When you see any article refering to Plates that keep food hot; Plates for eating slowly; Heat Retentive Plates, in wikiHow, eHow   (step 3) or any other place, they are refering to HotSmart Hot Plates; in some places they do not allow you to mention brands or trade marks.

On wikiHow (against their own policies), you can't even mention that the plates exist (by any name),  even though we told them that many people need the plates (The sick, elderly, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's patients etc.).

http://bit.ly/hotsmart

Only HotSmart manufactures and sells plates that stay still hot after 1/2 hour by preheating them in the microwave for as little as one single minute. HotSmart technology is patented and the products are only available through Amazon.com OK?

Industrial Engineer's Method to Avoid Overeating and Obesity

Click me (later if you wish) to see what wikiHow blocks (hides)!

Why don't I show you what I have researched In this single post?

http://bit.ly/hotsmart

Why eating slowly is so important? It could be a matter of life or death for some people (Obesity is); I will give you a few reasons but you can also Google it yourself if you wish; just type: “eating slowly” on any browser. As I said above, “royalty” at wikiHow decided to block any mention to my invention

I'm sure there are good people at wikiHow  but there are also others that if you publish an article on building planes, they will "improve it" by adding tank tracks to your airplane design (Just In case the landing field is muddy, you see...); and then if you try to correct it they will block you; anyway, this is a link to the drawing; it contains also good information:
Drawing

OK, I decided to try to put the article in its original context here.

See what Harvard says about eating slowly: ..Harvard on Eating Slowly
See what WebMD says…………………….....WebMD on Eating Slowly
I definitely recommend you to Google ...........  Eating slowly

Eating slowly to avoid overeating is based on the simple fact that your brain needs about 20 minutes to get the "signal" that you are not hungry anymore and you can stop eating; this is because our body needs time for the digestive and hormonal processes take place to a point or phase enough to generate the "satisfied signal". Do not confuse being full with being satisfied; you can be full, even bloated and still feel hungry and continue eating; it is very important to understand this.

However, eating slowly is not a simple decision that you make on the spur of the moment, or a New year's resolution that is forgotten well before January ends; but a habit that you need to acquire with mental preparation, actual practice AND recording in your brain pleasant experiences (Positive feedback gets your brain programmed). What do you think fire drills are for? To program your brain so that you know what to do when a real fire starts. Do you think a pianist thinks what finger of what hand She will move next? Of course not, she practices (in this case real practice). Have you ever rehearsed for a job interview in your mind (In this case using the imagination). The inexpensive book "Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz has many examples of this technique (I am not associated with them, they are apparently a Non for profit organization).

Do not miss the links below; you can check them later if you wish

(They give validity to what I'm trying to teach)

http://bit.ly/2h02A     Source: The Endocrine Society
http://bit.ly/eQYudQ Eat Slowly Site on acquiring the habit

 Steps

  1. 1
Reprogram your mind. Do not even attempt to acquire the habit of eating slowly before mentally rehearsing it in your mind for at least 21 days. Relax, lay down (take deep breaths, Exhale slowly) and use your imagination to create vivid mental images, that is: virtual pleasant experiences that your brain will register and remember (As real ones). Imagine yourself eating slowly, drinking water, savoring your food and above all imagine the end results: Your lean body, how you’ll look in that nice dress that you cannot wear anymore and the one you’d buy if only your waist looked a little like the one of the mannequin (How you will look at that party and your friends saying WOW! . Imagine how you’ll look in those sexy jeans (Jeans don’t lie, if they don’t fit they don’t fit), Imagine…
OK I don’t want to overdo it or that you think I’m John Lennon. You get the point right? We are trying to create virtual pleasant experiences that your brain will record, the more vivid and detailed the better. Half of the job is in your mind and your subconscious mind.
If you get WLS (Weight Loss Surgery) all that does to you is to force you to eat slower and to eat less. I dare say this method is virtual or mental WLS.
You have nothing to lose by trying this method; WLS costs thousands of dollars and has many complications I see it (I am an Industrial Engineer) and responsible Doctors see it as a last resort procedure since obesity is very dangerous but most people know that and it is beyond the scope of this simple method vandalized by a wikiHow “administrator” and that stinks! (I wonder if they actually get paid for destroying an article that was being RTd a lot, not anymore though).

  1. 2
Visualize yourself eating slowly After those first 21 days of pure mental practice actual practice comes; before each meal, see your glass of water (you will need to drink water before, with and after your meal to get the sensation of fullness in your stomach), see yourself eating slowly, savoring your food etc. and also see in your mind the end result: how you are going to look in that dress or those jeans, suit, bikini, etc.(You will need this motivation just in case you are still a little bit hungry after 20 minutes).

Make sure your glass of water is on the table always
(It will become a routine too)
  1. 3
Always relax before you start eating. Take a few deep breaths, hold it and exhale slowly by the mouth. Get rid of the stress before you start eating; remind yourself of the rewards (Good health, good looks, etc.). Look at the clock and add 20 minutes, that is your goal: take at least 20 minutes to enjoy your food;
  1. 4
Drink a glass of water and/or have a small bowl of light soup before your main dish, and drink water with your food. This will help your sensation of fullness, just like WLS does but without too much fuzz and without spending lots of money (And lots of side effects, you should research it).
  1. 5
Put the fork down after putting food in your mouth. take a sip of water, engage in conversation. Savor each bite; make it a pleasant experience so you will want to repeat it. Don’t believe in silly “plastic diet forks” at $8; somebody invented that joke and wikiHow chose to believe it, and now they are systematically deleting all references to my invention: Heat Retentive Plates or HotSmart Hot Plates available at Amazon.com (They are essential to this method since they keep your food warm). Would it be a pleasant experience eating cold food? Would it be a pleasant experience using a contraption to reduce oral cavity at about $500 (not including the Dentists fees)? Well this is what wikiHow favors.
  1. 6
Concentrate on your food and really enjoy it.  Do not watch TV while eating at least for the first 21 days of practice; by then Your brain will keep a record of that pleasant experience and this new way of eating will become automatic (Second nature) with practice.
  1.
Dedicate at least 20 minutes to finish your meal. Have always a wall clock in plain view from the table to adjust your eating speed; eat your last portion real slowly. If you are still hungry after 20 minutes, it means you are eating too fast; there is a "sensor" in our brain (In the hypothalamus) that needs about 20 minutes to get activated, digestive and hormonal processes need to take place before our brain realizes we are not hungry anymore; we could feel bloated and still hungry. You know what happens when we overeat right? Look at the image below:

The time to act is at the table
Obesity is linked to diabetes, hypertension and many other health risks (Even certain types of cancer). Check with your Doctor, I am an Industrial Engineer; when I designed the HotSmart Gourmet Plate and started selling it through Amazon.com  I was contacted by many people who where using it for care giving, elder care, Alzheimer’s, WLS, ALS, etc.

By the time we are on the scale it is too late. Do not wait till you see the consequences at the scale; take corrective action at the table: Monitor constantly your eating speed, drink water, watch the wall clock. Eating slowly will become automatic (Natural) after you experience the rewards. You will acquire the habit of eating slowly and less provided that your eating experience is a pleasant one, not by using clumsy gadgets that reduce oral cavity and cost $500 or using plastic “diet forks” which are a joke of course but are favored by @wikiHow

http://bit.ly/hotsmart

HotSmart Plates Keep food hot while you enjoy your food slowly. The whole point of this method is to make eating slowly a pleasant experience that gives a positive feedback to your mind. I recommend you read “Psycho Cybernetics” an excellent inexpensive book that apparently is published by a non for profit organization (I am not associated with them).

Just type: HotSmart at Amazon.com
HotSmarts get very hot in one single minute and remain hot for more than 30 minutes

 http://www.HotSmartUSA.com
  1. 8

If you feel still a little bit hungry after this, stop anyway; drink a little bit more water. This is where you will need a little will power and remember your motivation. In 5 more minutes you will not want to eat more even if food is delicious you will feel satisfied and full.

Things You'll Need

  • Wall clock
  • Water (Plain water will give you the sensation of fullness just as WLS does)
  • A Heat Retentive Plate (See above the actual product in bone china); if food gets cold eating slowly will not be a pleasant experience and you will never, nunca, “jamais de la vie”  acquire the habit (I am exaggerating of course, but it will be more difficult).

Will you please RT? This is good info for loved ones.
Thank you; I will really appreciate it!

InstaHot 30 min plus hot plate by HotSmart

Why did I design HotSmarts to stay still hot after 30 minutes? because I know that if you eat slowly as you should to avoid overeating and obesity it would take you about 20 minutes to finish your meal:
InstaHot 30 min plus hot plate

Does it make any sense? Yes, because the American public don't believe Advertisements anymore; they  (You) will say I will be happy if it stays still hot for 15 minutes (A normal ceramic plate gets cold in 5 minutes along with the food it contains). HotSmarts keep your food warm so you can enjoy it slowly.
My invention

A HotSmart reaches maximum temperature 5-8 minutes after taking it out of the microwave oven. Did I mention it needs only one minute preheating in the Microwave oven and that you can handle them safely by the rim with the bare hands? The rim does not get hot. Please see the specifications

Eating slowly to lose weight

HotSmart plates keep food hot at the table

(If you eat slowly food gets cold right?... Wrong)

http://bit.ly/hotsmart

Patented HotSmart®

It is very simple, it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to get the signal that you are not hungry anymore (Your system needs to digest, produce hormones, etc.). If you eat fast you will always overeat, why? because you are still hungry even if you ate too much. Eating slowly is a good healthy habit to acquire not a miracle cure for obesity but you could lose weight slowly or at least prevent gaining more weight simply by eating slowly.

Lose weight by eating on a HotSmart

Yes, Texas is teaching the Chinese how to make InstaHot 30 min plus plates; the ones that you "zap" for just one minute in the microwave oven and reSitemain hot for 30 minutes to keep your enchiladas hot on the plate. I am full of El Paso Pride.
